With good posture, wrap a measuring tape around the narrowest part of your torso, usually at or just above your belly button. Make sure the tape is parallel to the floor and not twisted.
When measuring your upper leg, measure from your waist down to 2-4 inches above your knee. Make sure the tape is straight and as close to your thigh as possible.
